Discuss with you doctor or healthcare professional your medical conditions, including heart problems, and medications, including alpha blockers prescribed for prostate problems or high blood pressure. This should be the case with any new medication to ensure that Levitra is right for you and that you are healthy enough for sexual activity.

Side effects with Levitra are usually reported to be mild and the most common side effects are headaches, flushing and stuffy or runny nose. In extreme cases Levitra may cause an erection that won't go away.  If you get an erection that lasts more than four hours, get medical help right away as this could cause lasting damage including the inability to have future erections

Vision changes may occur such as seeing a blue tinge to objects or having difficulty telling the difference between the colors blue and green can also take place and in rare instances, men taking drugs for penile dysfunction reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision in one or both eyes. Should any of these things take place and you are taking Levitra or any erection dysfunction drug, consult your doctor immediately.
