Who should take Levitra

Men with penile dysfunction have been for a long time too embarrassed about to tell their doctors that they were suffering. Being unable able to achieve an erection has long been a source of embarrassment so strong that it often would create relationship problems between couples. However, men began to tell their doctors that they were having this problem and new drugs from pharmaceutical companies to address the problem appeared. Bayer’s contribution was Levitra.

The medication Levitra was designed to be taken by men with erectile dysfunction of varying degrees. Levitra can be taken by men who experience other medical problems such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure which is not always the case with other drugs. Anyone who is thinking about taking any new drug should consult their doctor before doing so. Levitra is a prescription drug however; there are fake Levitra like drugs out there so one must be careful.

It has been clinically shown that Levitra helps men suffering erectile function. Men who had other health factors, like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes can also use Levitra but they must be sure to follow their doctor’s advice on how to take it and how much to take.

For men taking Levitra they have reported having harder erections and greater success at maintaining their erections.  There is misinformation about how long the erection will last and men having to get medical attention because of prolonged erections.  However, once a man has completed sexual activity, the blood flow to his penis should decrease and his erection will go away but if this doesn’t, seek medical attention.

There are people who should not take Levitra; you should not take the medication if you take any medicines called “nitrates”. these are usually associated with heart problems, such as angina. Levitra can cause a higher heart rate which can affect the nitrate within your system. Using recreational drugs called "poppers" like amyl nitrate and butyl nitrate can cause problems and you should not use Levitra as these drugs increase your heart when used in combination with Levitra. Should you have been told by your doctor not to have sexual activity due to a medical condition, do not use Levitra and follow your doctors’ orders.
